I got off to a rocky start with my driving as I was with another instructor, however after 10 tedious hours and not making any progress we decided to change instructor. We then found StreetDrive(School of Motoring)and it offered excellent value for money. I was taken under the wing of my Instructor and I was taken through all of my tests passing them all first time with few errors. My driving lessons were always well planned on every occasion and I felt that in each lesson I was learning more and making really good steady progress. My driving instructor Phil was always welcoming, patient and very professional. He was very encouraging and always gave me detailed feedback on what and how I needed to improve. If I wasn’t sure about a maneuver he would take the time to go over it as many times as I wanted to make sure I was happy with it. I am a student at the University of Bath and I took a total of approximately 25 hours of lessons with StreetDrive(SoM)of which every second of that time I felt was very productive and was aimed for me to reach a high level of driving. I was not made to simply drive around aimlessly but each route taken was carefully chosen and had its purpose in contributing to me becoming a very good driver. I mainly did my lessons in sets of 4 hours which I initially worried would be too long but the time flew by not only due to my high concentration on the road and trying to absorb my instructors useful tips, but also due to the pleasant conversation and friendly atmosphere created by my instructor. I found that Street Drive were very friendly, polite and there was good communication. I felt that they did their best to ensure i passed my driving test, and i did on the first attempt. Learning with Street Drive was really good. I did a 20 hour intensive course which was very effective and fun! They make you feel comfortable and teach you at your own pace with reassurance and without any pressure. Street drive was good value for money and they are very reliable, when arriving on time for your lessons. Initially, I had lessons with a different local driving school, I found it very difficult to learn with them, so after taking 40+ hours I was still no way ready for my L Test, thats until I joined StreetDrive (School of Motoring), Louise was my Driving Instructor, she was great and we worked hard on my exposure to different traffic situations to increase my confidence and improve my planning & preparation skills. Streetdrive was one of my top driving schools after months of looking around. I began driving lessons just after my 17th Birthday and am in full time work. My instructor fitted it around my shift times each week, which may have been a slight inconvenience at times! I approached StreetDrive looking for a intensive course to pass my driving practical within 2 weeks as I'd booked this time off work. Speaking to Shaun the co-owner of StreetDrive he gave me all the relevant information about the company values and how they operate. He was extremely honest as I originally was looking to book the 40hour course but he advised me that, taking into account my age and mentality, I'd surely pass with 30hours experience. He passed my details onto Phil who was to become my instructor. Phil was a fantastic instructor very patient and honest and had a very good method of teaching and for each manoeuvre also. I passed first time after 27.5hours and I was even given a cash refund for the remaining 2.5hours that I had paid for which is fantastic considering the cost of the test (£60) was free! I never thought i would ever be able to drive it was something i never saw myself doing but i needed to try as my husband is in the army and i have two small children i found street drive on he internet it sounded the best of all the ones i looked at and i am glad i chose them. I was on the roads driving in a matter of been in the drivers seat after 10 minuets and i loved it from start to finish it took me 10 weeks to pass my test with a two week brake in that. I was a very nervous passenger and thought i would be the same as a drive but i had a really good teacher and felt comfortable driving i would recommend streetdrive (school of motoring) to anyone wanting to learn to drive in fact i have allot of my friends are wanting to learn and ive told them all how good a my Instructor is and the good thing is if ur not comfortable with a male instructor there is a female one who is very nice people and friendly too.
